Not fit for purpose

I've used many grinders over the years, and these take the cake. The pepper grinder will make your pepper as coarse as you like it. The salt mill is equally well built and designed, but you have to grind a lot of salt to get your food to taste. For the pair I give five stars.

Had purchased Peugeot Fidji 20cm Pepper Mill, Black Matte from Australian Peugeot supplier. They did not have the Salt Mill in stock.Chose the Fidji because had used son's pepper mill and it was really good. His was a ‘Checkmate’ with a ‘Bistro’ top.It allowed for excellent control through the organic top with slim-line body. The only Peugeot mill to totally fit the criteria was the Fidji.Have also purchased the Fidji pair 15cm for tabletop use from our Australian supplier.

J’avais déjà un moulin à sel qui ne fonctionnait pas très bien et j’ai décidé « d’investir », ayant le modèle identique pour le poivre depuis des années et qui fonctionne à merveille. Malheureusement le moulin à sel n’a pas la qualité de son jumeau. Donc à part faire joli sur le comptoir c’est un achat que je regrette.
