I bought this to customise the embosser, the seller gives instructions that the blank discs supplied can be engraved to produce the stamped effect. This is not true. Professional engravers say that it is totally the wrong technique and will never produce the embossed effect shown. The one star is for the prompt delivery and adequate packaging. Returned.

I was hoping that there would be instructions included that recommend on level of detail etc. that the plates are able to be engraved with my own design. I'm going to have to get advice from a local engraver/trophy maker before continuing now.The actual stamp tool is exactly as advertised however and I'm pleased with the quality.

I ordered this with the expectation of being able to fit an embossed disc on their page - as is suggested in the advert - but they don't sell those separately. I'd have to go to an engraver to get the blanks engraved which would probably cost the same as the machine.
