I have always been impressed by Philips lighting, and this solar lamp is no exception. It is good to see Philips offering quality solar fittings and wish other quality lighting brands would do likewise.The lamp is well made and the solar charge is sufficient to ensure it remains illuminated all night. The advertised efficiency is impressive and it appears to be delivering. I'm not expecting such performance in the winter, but whatever it delivers will be a bonus.The lampost is relatively short at 40cm but it suits my purpose nicely, being mounted on top of a low garden wall. Fitting was relatively easy but does involve drilling into concrete or similar substance to securely mount, with it having no ground spike to push into ground. Access to secure the screws is limited, but otherwise the fitting was straightforward.The colour and finish are modern and attractive. I am expecting this lamp post to last many years.Overall very pleased. Indeed, I bought a second unit.A considerable upgrade on the many cheaper solar lamps which predominate the market which are made of cheaper plastic or stainless steel which tends weather badly, especially in coastal areas.Thank you, Philips.

J'ai plusieurs bornes solaires dans mon jardin. Celle-ci éclaire-ci éclaire particulièrement bien.J'apprécie particulièrement deux caractéristiques qu'on n'a pas sur nos autres lampes solaires extérieures : on peut ajuster la luminosité de la lampe (ce qui permet de la faire durer plus longtemps la nuit si on sort beaucoup) et on peut également décider combien de temps on veut que la lampe reste allumée (maximum 60 secondes, soit 1 minute). C'est très pratique car chez nous, Monsieur l'utilise surtout pour aller jusqu'au compost au fond du jardin. Du coup, il veut surtout une lampe qui éclaire avec beaucoup d'intensité et longtemps pour ne pas rentrer à tâtons dans le noir.Par contre, cette borne doit être fixée au sol. Elle ne tient pas seule.

Die Lampe hat schon nach 8 Monaten den Geist aufgegeben. Garantieabwicklung über Philips nahezu unmöglich bzw. wird unnötig (absichtlich) kompliziert gemacht. Amazon sollte meiner Meinung nach bei solchen Fällen die Abwicklung unterstützen, man wird aber leider nur an den Hersteller verwiesen.
