De ta018 6203 gelijkstroomtang is ideaal voor gebruik met PicoScope auto-oscilloscopen voor het meten van 10 mA tot 60 A. Hiermee kan de PicoScope de huidige golfvormen voor de injectoren en brandstofpomp weergeven. De stroomtang heeft twee instellingen voor de kalibratie, door een schuifschakelaar op het handvat van de sonde. 1 mV/10 mA (100 mV = 1 A) – gebruik deze voor het testen van stromen tot 20 A. 1 mV/100 mA (10 mV = 1 A) – gebruik deze voor de test stroom tot 60 A. Het is niet nodig om de schakeling te breken of de isolatie te verstoren omdat de opening gewoon rond de huidige geleider past. Geen elektrische verbinding nodig. Deze huidige tangen zijn ontwikkeld voor gebruik met PicoScope oscilloscopes en extra screening om lawaai te verminderen.

delivered as promised from the company well packaged. The picoscope is good quality and easy to use to check for current readings in cables and car wiring without breaking into the circuits. Ideal for fault finding in vehicles as powered from the battery 12/24 volt source.

Nicely made. Comes with cheapo battery, otherwise great. Auto off circuit would be nice to save battery.When measuring low currents with popular Rigol scope, signal to noise ratio is same as with 0.1 ohm shunt. (See scope traces.) Ten turns thru the clamp multiplies signal output so lower sensitivity can be used which cleans up the signal. I have not evaluated the high frequency response of this scheme. It will add inductance to circuit under test but as seen in scope traces, not a problem in this test.

This Pico low current clamp is well worth the money. I own a few others like OTC and Snap On what I like about the Pico is the 20/60 amp settings on my Snap On it’s 20/40 which is good for Lower resolution however sometimes it’s nice to go up to 60MA. Also people complain about don’t forget to shut it off don’t seem to realize that 90% of the scopes on the market have the same set up. This is worth buying 100%.
