Just what I needed! This butter dish is great. I like that it has a lid that snaps and the inner plate has curved edges to keep your butter in the middle and the clear cover is a nice thick plastic. This container is well madeUnfortunately my butter come a little taller than the container so I just slice about a half an inch length wise and cut it into 2 pieces and place it to the end of the butter to make it fit and it does perfectly cause the container is long and there is extra space at the end of my butter. We are in Canada and purchase 1lb butter that comes in a rectangle shape with a foild wrapper.Been looking for a butter dish that will last and fit the butter we get and this is perfect!

I didn’t think I’d care this much about a butter container, but this thing is actually great. First off—it seals. Like, properly. No weird smells, no crusty butter edges, just fresh butter every time I open it.I got tired of my cat trying to sneak butter off the counter, so the locking clips on this one are a game changer. It actually clicks shut and stays shut, even if someone knocks it around (or tries to paw it open). Total peace of mind.I also love the little details—like the ramps on the inside that help you scrape your knife clean, and the measurement marks so I’m not just guessing how much butter I’m using. Plus, it doesn’t slide around when I’m using it, which is weirdly nice. Just feels solid.It’s one of those things you don’t realize you needed until you have it. And yes, it goes straight in the dishwasher when it needs a clean, no fuss. Definitely worth it.

This butter dish does what it's supposed to. It creates and airtight seal using two clamps and silicone ring where the two pieces meet.It arrived with a few tiny scuff marks on the top but they're barely noticeable and not an issue for me.It doesn't fit a 1 pound block of butter but I knew that going in, I just wanted to reiterate that for anyone who may have missed it in the listing. I still have a few 1 pound blocks I need to use up so I'll just cut them in half. Once they're gone I'll buy ½ pound blocks or sticks.It says it's dishwasher safe in the listing, but it has that kind of plastic that feels like it will dry out and fade over time if you wash it in the dishwasher regularly. I will hand wash mine to be on the safe side.I do think the price is a bit steep for what it is though so I docked it a point for that.

This is an excellent, high-quality, airtight butter dish from the PISOL Store, that does a great job of keeping my butter fresh!I like to leave some butter out on the counter at room temperature, so that it's easier to spread. With this great container, I can split a one-pound block of butter horizontally, so that the one half fits it perfectly, while the other half goes in the fridge. I especially like that it keeps the butter airtight, so that it doesn't spoil as quickly when it's warm in the kitchen — and with its crystal-clear cover, I can always see how much is left!5 STARS!!!

I bought this to hold a 1 pound Canadian butter block (2.5 x 2.5 x 5 inches size give or take) and the dish is wide and long enough to do so however it will only fit butter that's 1.5 inches high so most brands of butter sold in Canada in the 1 pound bricks will not fit unless you shave off an inch from the top. That aside the closure clips on each side are a smart idea as are the 'feet' on the bottom of the dish although they aren't non-slip on all surfaces. It would have been perfect for my needs had the dish been taller to accommodate 2.5 inch high blocks.
