Great price for a good groupset. As provided, this group is for non-boost bikes (comes with a 6mm offset chainring) but I made it boost by swapping the chainring for a 3mm offset to get boost 52mm chainline. Works great! Comes with everything you need except bb. Now just need to wait for winter to be over…

I replaced a Shimano 3x8 with a SRAM NX 1x12. My wife loves her Marin Mill Valley Alp 2002 and didn't want a new bike even though she was struggling with the triple chain-ring derailleur. I proposed an upgrade to a SRAM 1x similar to my new road bike. The upgrade went well and I was amazed that the 12-cog NX cassette slotted onto the hub that previously held the 8-cog Shimano cassette - no hub change needed. I replaced the bottom bracket with a SRAM DUB BSA-threaded, and this also went well. Work-stand testing was good. On the road (under power) the 11T cog suffered chain skipping. This was solved by grinding excess material from the perimeter of the hub end-cap. My wife was delighted with the drive train upgrade. The NX is designed for MTBs and for a road bike my wife needed more speed. I increased the top speed by replacing the standard 32T chain-ring with a 38T ring. She is now looking for even more speed so a larger chain ring is imminent. Delighted so far.
