Play Loog Guitar!: Lots of fun with 50+ easy songs!

My young students who can't hold a full 6 string guitar love the Loog guitar. And I found this book which has easy TABs for them to learn. Once they know the strings and where to put their fingers, they are going through this book easily and enjoying the songs they are playing. This book is a great for teaching and for kids who are learning on their own. All they need to know are the positions on the guitar, not necessarily the rhythm or technique of it. When they get older they can learn that stuff. As for now, they are being rock stars :)

This is the book that should have come with my son's loog guitar. Simple songs to get used to the fretboard and cords with strumming directions. We struggled with the only book they were selling on the loog site when we bought the guitar. It was a classical "made easy" with shortened versions of classical songs. They were still too advanced for most kid beginners and it led to a lot of frustration and arguments. This book is what was missing from the loog app as well. We thought there was more instruction than loog was really offering. This book is a great starter.

The whole family loves this book!With this book’s easy tablature the first simple melodies are easily learned. In the second part you learn some chords and strum along to your own (or someone else’s) singing, which for my kids is lots of fun. In my opinion this book is the perfect companion for any Loog guitar.

This is a great starter but I do want to specify it does not have standard notation. Only tab and rhythms. But a great collection to start.
