Play-Doh Slice And Blast Pizza Speelset

This little TMNT set was easy to put together last evening, and the kids got right to the action. Yes, the pizza shooter is a bit finnicky, and the pizza Play-Doh doesn't really stay looking like pizza all that long when in use. But they had fun with it, and they still like shooting pieces of Play-Doh out of it, when they're able to pack it in well enough for it to work. As others have said, the Mikey toy is kind of the star of the show, and my 6-year-old has been playing with it nonstop. I was actually shocked at how affordable this kit is, as most kids toys these days are outrageously priced. They may not be playing with the whole set this time next week, but the Mikey toy and noodle maker thing will still be a hit for a while.

Do not buy!!!It does not even eject the “pizzas”.It does not work at all. So disappointed but I can not return because my grandson loves the turtle that came with it. Sad because we have thrown away everything else!!!!Even if the pizza machine did push out the pizzas you would only be able to make a few that look like pizza because it’s premade and after you use it once all the colors blend together.Terrible design

If you’re kids love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as much as ours this will be a hit regardless, but it does work with some care (although this is easier said than done depending on the age of the kid)! The trick is not to overfill it as otherwise it won’t launch, although even as an adult doing it for them I couldn’t get it to work every time!The noodle maker works great though and is much easier to control even for them (4 years and up). The figurine of Michelangelo is also a solid toy for general play and has flexible arms & legs to put him into different positions.Despite the minor issues I believe the RRP is good value for a playset of its quality, let alone for a toy with official TMNT branding, so I’m happy to recommend it overall.

Having watched the TV show as a kid and now my own toddler is playing with TMNT toys brings memories of my childhood. I enjoyed playing with this play-doh set alongside my toddler.Made in China.
