When you rub it on really well it is easy to remove, just slide fingers over it sideways and the backing comes off easily.I did pin for extra security, but it was hard to loosen once I had put the other fabric on, so that likely wasn't even needed.Washed out in one wash.

Excellent.Proper quilters double sided tape - not usual double sided tape. Perfect for sewing, doesn't make the needle sticky when you sew through it.Very happy with my purchase and would recommend
