This item was bought for a 20 bedroom hotel with busy bar. It's been installed a few days now and keeps up great, having alot more capacity than most machines. In any event when the machine gives a full warning we bag some up and put it in the freezer just to be on the safe side. It is very well construction and produces a quiet hum when running. It's easy to clean and comes with the scoop, waste pipe (though this is only to catch any melted ice in the tray) and stanard 3/4" BSP water hose fitting (as well as clear illustrated instructions in english). Installation takes just a couple of minutes, you just need a standard washing machine/dishwasher water outlet and somewhere to loose the waste (which is slightly smaller than a standard washing machine waste but can still squeeze onto a washing machine/dishwasher waste hose connection under the sink nonetheless). The hoses are good quality and are around 1.5 to 2m long which was sufficient for our needs. We mistakenly fitted this without the provided rubber feet and this caused a very small vibration on the countertop (which also had glasses on!) - so we reinstalled using the supplied feet which I recommend anyone else does, as it also allows you to clean under the machine and makes it easier to use. The item arrived next day after ordering and was strapped and palletised, so is well protected in transit. All in we were very pleased and thought it was a great price for a great item!

My wife suddenly got a massive craving for ice, which turned out to be a text-book scenario for a low red cell count (Anemia). Not having a fridge/Freezer with built in ice maker, I looked on Amazon for a suitable unit and after reading the reviews, bought this one.It does everything it supposed to do and left on and topped up will definately supply a constant supply of conical ice cubes (rather a contradiction in terms but couldn't think of another word for cube that was round!) It is so efficient that a small to medium pub or wine bar would be well supplied.One thing that is not mentioned anywhere in the blub for the machine, is that you can make flavoured ice lumps and the best thing to do is buy squashes. Make up the solution to taste in a jug and pour in the resevoir. After making the flavoured ice, fill up with clean water and make more ice lumps until they are regular water ice again.After use and certainly if you won't be using it for a while, get as much of the water out via the drain tube and leave the lid open until everything is completely dry.In Summary: Good price for such an efficient, professional machine. Some noise in operation and also very heavy.

Zum einen kam das Gerät gebraucht mit Farb(!)- Resten am Korpus und Kabel an. Die Umverpackung war stark beschädigt, das Gerät hatte Wasserflecke und war innen feucht. Aber zum Gerät: Funktion ist gegeben, es macht Eiswürfel. Die Lautstärke ist allerdings eine Zumutung. Ich dachte, andere gleichlautende Bewertungen sind einfach die Geräte- bedingten Geräusche nicht gewöhnt. Aber dieses Gerät ist wirklich außergewöhnlich laut. Beim Verpacken für die Rücksendung ist auch aufgefallen, dass es sich über den Ablaufhahn eben NICHT vollständig entleeren lässt. Tank leer, Ablauf länger geöffnet, trotzdem trat immer noch eine größere Menge Wasser aus. Und das finde ich bei längeren Stillstand nun wirklich problematisch. Wenn null Sterne möglich wäre, würde ich die geben .....
