Habe meine 16 Monate alte günstige Wärmeleitpaste gegen Polartherm X10 ausgetauscht, da die Temperaturen meiner CPU gestiegen sind. Es sind 10°C Grad bessere Werte als meine alternde Paste und 6°C Grad besser als die Billigpaste neu. Ich weiß nicht wielange die Lebensdauer ist, aber die gute Wärmeleitfähigkeit ist schonmal Fakt.

A bit stiff, but easy to apply. I'd avoid using the tapered-tip applicator, as it just wastes too much compound. Stick with the regular tip. Performance is not quite as good as the MX-5 it replaced, but is close enough that I don't care. It's certainly a lot easier to clean than the MX-5, thanks to its stiffness. I wouldn't use it for extreme overclocking, but if you were doing that, you wouldn't be buying this anyway. I haven't used this for my GPU, so I can't comment on its performance there.X-10 is definitely the better choice over X-8, as X-10 has lower resistance and therefore better surface-to-surface heat transfer, despite a "low" conductivity of 3.8W/mK.

A friend of mine who is a massive tech guy recommended me this stuff, he never tried it himself but had been eying it since it released. I was a bit skeptical at first considering I had never heard about it before and I the only page I could find that had it in stock was this one with zero reviews at the time I found it. I eyed it for a bit and decided it was worth a shot, after all what is the worst that can happen? It arrived with the box a little crushed which isn't their fault amazon should've placed the contents in a box not an envelope considering it contained chemicals. But the product was unharmed and nothing appeared to be missing. Replacing my old thermal paste with the new stuff my temperatures went down massively from 60 idle or 90 gaming to 30 idle 64 gaming with a CPU that normally runs hot. Although this is with a new cooling system entirely, nonetheless it was easy to apply and performs pretty well.
