Great book for starters

Fab book for my 12yo dd2 having started her lessons 2 months ago. Her mentor is giving virtual lessons and bought this book as she was so impressed with the modern songs and how much my dd2 is improving each week just from this book. Each song is broken down with the letters shown in the notes making it easier for beginners but her tutor has said it is a perfect book for any keyboard / pianist at any level. Would highly recommend

Love most of the songs in this Pop Song book. The notes are easy to follow and suitable for level 2-3 pianist. This is one of the better piano books by Hal Leonard.

I have a lovely middle school piano student who is elementary level in piano. She is really into the pop songs right now! She absolutely loves this book. It is great because it teaches students to put chords in the left hand with the melody line in the right hand. The book does not contain much fingering if any, so we have had to write some in. Playing these familiar songs is helping my student gain ground really quickly, as she has to move around a lot more than in her lesson book! I would definitely recommend this to a teacher trying to find a good book of pop songs for elementary level piano!
