This is certainly a very cute pencil case, it's made of a soft silicone and a bright yellow zip. I am not entirely convinced about the "feature" where you can expand it by pulling the base - this does release a little more room, but it does mean if you use the extra space you no longer have a flat base to stand it up, so you'd have to take stuff out before you could.It's not the roomiest pencil/pen case either - if this was going to be used by a child to take to school, for example, I think I'd use it just for one type of thing, like pencil crayons, and keep the pens, rulers etc. which are used all the time in a regular case.I think it would be better to keep it for home so it can be a nice decorative desk decoration with some practical use.I do wonder if they could have made it so the zipper pull was a little bell and finished under the cats nose when you closed it, so it would look more like a collar.Overall it's very cute but it has its limitations, and at the moment it's priced at just under £10 which seems quite a lot for what it is. I've seem similar items a lot cheaper here on Amazon so I'd shop around.

This is a super cute pencil case which is soft and tactile. Extending and collapsing the base is great fun!
