It was so hard to find a fitting to go from 5 inch down to 4 inch.It has worked out exactly as I needed it s great product at a great price

Works exactly as it should. Goes into a 5" hose and into a 4" hose on the other end.

I installed a Super Dust Deputy Deluxe a couple months ago (4” inlet, 5” outlet, model just before Oneida’s recent design change) and used this to replace the 5-to-4 reducer it came with. The Powertec reducer is stronger, stiffer, and has longer flanges. It fit maybe just a tad looser in the outlet opening than the cheap one supplied with the Dust Deputy, but since it was going to be caulked in anyway, it didn’t matter. A bead of silicone caulk around the 5” opening end and another just below the midpoint lip in the fitting and it’s solid as a rock in the Dust Deputy outlet opening. No issues getting my 4” hose to the fan inlet onto the fitting. Really satisfied and glad I upgraded the original reducer.

Worked perfect for reducing the 5” flex hose running from the intake on my dust collector to the 4” DWV PVC I have run throughout my wood shop. Noticed a major improvement in suction throughout the shop as compared to using the 5” to 4” Y adapter that came with the dust collector that went on the intake.
