Its appears to be a well made valve. Someone was tossing out an air compressor as it wasn't working as it should. I brought it home, started it up and diagnosed it as having a check valve that was leaking (on opening up the check valve I found the internals of the valve were missing) I couldn't locate a valve locally nor find a brass one on Amazon with the 1/8 fitting on the correct side. This valve was reasonably priced and after fabricating a new line the compressor is up and running.

I bought this to replace the blown out part on my compressor. It fits a California air tools 15020c (and other compressors also)

The part replaced a pot metal component which was destroyed when my compressor fell over. The pot metal disintegrated on impact, it was coated with copper/brass surface finish to hide the brittle pot metal.This replacement part is genuine brass metal. All threaded parts were well machined and the correct size. Installation was straight forward. I would caution to use a good, gap filling thread sealant when fitting to the compressor as the threading on the compressors is at best rough.Now I am working on a metal cover for the component and attached pipes. Better safe than sorry but this part is solid and will take impact without falling apart.
