I purchased this sealer in 2022, and use it weekly for portioning out groceries for freezing, and for sealing leftovers in jars to keep longer in the fridge. I've gone through several rolls of bags, and this sealer just keeps on delivering. I did have to replace the foam seals in it, but after a few years of reliable use, that's to be expected. I noticed it started struggling a big to reliably evacuate the air from the bags, but after replacing the seals it was good as new!I did recently encounter a problem; in the middle of packaging a batch of groceries, it suddenly stopped sealing. The vacuum pump worked fine, it just quit sealing the bags, and the sealer bar wasn't even getting warm. I contacted support, who responded very quickly, and after just a little bit of back-and-forth (far less than I expected!) they decided to send me a replacement unit, which arrived the very next day. Absolutely stellar customer care!

I bought this product and didn't test it immediately unfortunately. It doesn't even switch on due to the difference in voltage between Australia and the United States.

This product arrived on time. The instructions are easy to follow. Haven't used it too much yet but so far so good. It has a good amount of suction and seals the bags completely. Would recommend.

Bottom line: We will never own anything other than a POTANE again. Our purchase came with a 5 year warranty and they honor that. I heard from Potane customer service within hours when our unit wouldn't power up after a power outage. They asked a couple questions and mailed us a new one without hesitation. Nicole was quick with her responses, all within a couple hours and assured me to not worry, our sealer would be replaced immediately. I received it within 2 days of her email. Outstanding customer service and truly unheard of in these times. I bought my daughter a space heater from another company and it was 2 weeks with back and forth emails, pictures of a cut cord, picture of the word 'recalled' written on the heater, etc. It was a nightmare. This was so easy. As I said, we will never own anything but a Potane, it's a quality item and we never had an issue until the power outage. Buy with confidence, the manufacturer has your back!!!
