If you have spikes on your speaker stands but need to protect a delicate floor or other surface then these PrecisionGeek spike shoes are as good and option as any.I have been using a set of eight of these with stands on my very large office desk. They are easy enough to fit. You can move/slide them around in order to fine tune positioning and they do not appear to degrade the sound at all. Since I do not want spike scratched or holes on my wooden desk to these are the perfect solution. I have limited space for the speakers and the do not fit on the floor. I am using a pair of SoundStyle stands with a pair of small Monitor Audio book shelf speakers. Anything bigger would not work in the room. since my office is quite small.They are keenly priced and under cut offerings from big Hi-Fi names, so they are great value. I would highly recommend them. If these are what you need then they will do nicely, thank you.

If you have proper spikes on your speakers, then you know that they do horrible things to your floor.... So pads like these are the answer.And these do the job well. Solid, simple little disks of metal with a good little notch for the spike. They take the speakers easily - including my large speakers, which aren't floor-standers but are not far off.They are decently priced, and since these products are so simple, there's no real reason I can see for getting fancier ones.
