📏This is a 50-metre fibreglass measuring tape housed in a large, enclosed ABS reel, roughly 40cm by 30cm in size. The tape is marked on both sides in full metric units – for example, 1m 20cm rather than 120cm – and the measurement is taken right to the pin at the tape’s end rather than the end of the plastic loop. I found the markings clear and easy to read, even when the tape is fully extended.📏The tape unspools without resistance, and although there’s no release button or clutch, the handle turns as the tape is drawn out. There’s a lock integrated into the body to stop the tape from feeding out on its own, which has proven useful, especially when I’m working alone and trying to keep the tape steady. The geared take-up is fast – the 3:1 mechanism really makes a difference, especially when reeling the full length back in. You can wind it in with little effort and in much less time than a standard reel. At the tape end, there’s a loop and hook arrangement which makes it easy to secure to different surfaces. The loop gives good flexibility depending on the layout or method you're using.📏The casing itself is made of bright orange ABS plastic, with black rubber pads for protection at the corners. It’s hard to miss if left on site or in the garden, and the rubber gives it a bit of impact resistance. The handle folds neatly into the body for storage, and the whole thing weighs around 1120g – heavy enough to feel solid, but not cumbersome. From the feel of it, the body seems robust enough to handle regular outdoor use, and it looks like the tape outlet could be disassembled, possibly to change the winding direction if you’re left-handed.📏In domestic use, I think it really shines when dealing with larger outdoor areas – marking out a garden layout, fencing, or spacing for planting. For smaller jobs it’s probably more than you need, unless you’re working in longer runs or have a specific reason to use a 50m tape.📏There’s very little I can find fault with. It’s performed reliably, the construction feels durable, and it’s easy to use and read. While I’ve not tested it in extreme conditions, it’s handled a range of weather and remained flexible and accurate throughout. Overall, it’s a well-made tool that’s clearly designed to last and well suited to both domestic and light professional tasks. ✔️

Para la realización de mediciones de largas distancias con precisión es MUY NECESARIO el disponer de cintas métricas flexibles y ligeras, que podamos fijarlas en un punto con sencillez y un desenrollado rápido y efectivo hasta el punto a medir.. En este caso tenemos una cinta de material flexible como es la fibra de vidrio, MUY RESISTENTE, de muy fácil lectura y control y con un sistema de guardado y transporte sencillo y efectivo en ambientes de trabajo o de cierto riesgo.. La cinta nos ofrece mediciones con escala en centímetros, disponiendo de marcas cada 10cm adicionales y marcas más grandes en los metros completos. Totalmente serigrafiados sobre la cinta y resistentes al roce y la intemperie sin que se borren o dañen las marcas. La medida mínima es de 2mm y disponemos de serigrafia de la escala por los dos lados de la cinta.. La punta incluye un sistema de anclaje reforzado y permite realizar mediciones con una precisión MUY BUENA con solo fijarla y desenrollar la cinta sobre los puntos a medir. Con un peso suficiente que lo hace soportar pequeños vientos y movimientos no deseados, nos asegura que a lo largo de toda la distancia se mantendrá en su posición sin apenas variaciones grandes.. Todo el conjunto de la cinta está homologado y dispone de los certificados de exactitud y precisión necesarios para trabajos en obra. Con una carcasa exterior de guardado fabricada en ABS resistente a caídas y golpes, nos asegura poder proteger el conjunto en casi cualquier situación.. El sistema de engranajes de guardado de la cinta, permite aumentar en 3X la velocidad de recogida por lo que podemos ahorrar tiempo en este proceso de una forma cómoda y fácil. La manivela es totalmente anatómica y de bajo impacto por lo que permite tener el conjunto en un espacio inferior y ocupando menos sitio en nuestra caja de herramientas.. La punta de apoyo de la cinta permite ajustar con más precisión la medición y unido al sistema de bloqueo del lateral, manejarla en casi cualquier sitio sin riesgo de desenrollarse o que se abra por accidente.MUY RECOMENDABLE y de una EXCELENTE calidad global, tanto en fabricación como en modo de uso.
