It was bargain price for one of these and was a slack fit but I bolted a u shaped strip of metal to the top bolt and that made it a tight fit. It's a few weeks now and no rats have managed to eat my toilet waste anymore.

This product was really easy to fit. Looks excellent quality and will hopefully work now we think the rats were getting in through that pipe so can only come down from the loft and not up it but think they are now gone. Such a good invention. Would highly recommend. Will hopefully last years.

Told to install one by an exterminator at £350 +Vat. Under £50 to buy and install. Rats seem to have gone. They can exit but not return through the sewer pipe.
