Most people I guess use this for gun ranges and whatnot. For that it must be great. I tried to use it in a library / work environment. It provides quite a good sound isolation but it is realllllllly tight around my head. I've kept this thing stretched for a full week before properly using it, it was still squeezing the hell out of me. Double this up with some ear canal blockers, you hear virtually nothing. Good for short term use. Not something you would wear for more than 10 minutes. Too tight!

I love these things. I bought them so I could read while my husband watches tv. They work great. I can still hear the tv but just faintly.
