A folder that is exactly the same size as the sheets held in it, does not accommodate very well. There is no give space, sheets are held in place too tightly. I am going to return this item due to the size. The material and quality of this item looks very good.

Yeah you can put music in it. I do. But you can also put other types of paperwork in it. Whatever. It has two diagonally-oriented elastic straps to keep it shut so your papers don't go all over the floor. I LOVE those. They work great. It is black but not shiny like typical vinyl, so it's good for concert use. It's thick and sturdy and not likely to fall apart as easily as some of the folders I've owned.Little story for you:I've had this for a few months now, and have been using it for routine sheet music storage. Back and forth from home to rehearsal. Nothing fancy. A few days ago though, I took a nasty fall. I had my instrument and this folder in one hand and a backpack in the other, so there was no way of stopping myself from hitting the ground hard. I tried to toss the stuff on my way down and get that arm under myself but wasn't fast enough. Even so, I let the folder and instrument go from about two feet; they flew a good six or seven feet before hitting the rocky ground and sliding another foot or so. The instrument (in its case) landed on top of the folder. When I got up and collected everything, nothing except me was broken. Just muddy. A wet paper towel took care of that, and this folder is still looking like it's brand new. It even stayed shut and kept my music from flying all over the field. It is a trooper.UPDATE: I've had this for just over a year now and I've been using it for two bands. It's been stuffed to the gills with sheet music to the point where it's almost too heavy for my cheap old music stand, and I open/close it daily. It still looks brand new, and the elastic bands are still in perfect shape. They haven't frayed or snapped yet. I still think this was a great buy.

Coloquei um prendedor de partituras na pasta e ela já deu um pequeno rasgo na borda. Pelo valor eu esperava muito mais! Sugiro o uso de outra marca que use couro de verdade!
