These are the most comfortable socks I have ever owned. I waited a while to write a review so I could see how they lasted after washing and wear. I've been wearing them for more than a month and have washed them several times ( I don't put them in the dryer). They keep my feet warm in the cold weather and don't make my feet feel sweaty like polyester socks do. They look nice too. I liked them so much I got a second set.

Well, the title basically says it all. I've never had wool socks. I've only ever worn cheap cotton socks. So that's what I'm comparing them to. These socks were about 2 bucks a pair, and have a lot more cushion than what I'm used to, and that's a good thing. I bought them to wear with zero-drop minimalist shoes, and they have made the shoes much more comfortable-- kind of like an insole. I wear size 13 shoes, and the socks fit my feet great. I've only had them a week, so I'll update on how long they last later. My only wish is that they offered a quarter height sock. They do smell like chemicals, but after the first wash they are fine. I had heard that wool socks don't smell or retain sweat/moisture as much as cotton socks; and while perhaps dryer, they still will smell. They look like old-man socks, but I'm in my 50's now, so I don't care.

Great quality thicker than shop bought equivalent warm and comfy. Size is accurate
