For years, if I needed to add another hole to my leather belts, I had to use a bradawl from my toolbox. The result would work but it was not a tidy job. This hole punch tool is a game changer. Easy to use and versatile with the range of hole diameters that it can drill. The tool for clearing the punch tool is very handy. Along with the spare plates and screwdriver, not to mention the ruler - its all you need for plenty of use.

I’ve used this hole punch on a belt and the result was clean and professional. The rotating wheel clicks securely between hole sizes and lines up perfectly. The rubber grips make it comfortable even when applying pressure.The puncher cuts through leather with ease, and Im sure it will be just as effective on vinyl and canvas.It’s now a permanent fixture in my DIY kit.For anyone who wants to save a trip to the cobbler or tailor, this tool delivers professional results at home.

It's very straightforward to use and I didn't know I needed one until I needed it. That is to say that this is one of those tools that it's always good to have around, and whenever you will pick it up it will be as brand new as it was when you first bought it.

This is a review for the hole punch (seems that the listing got aggregated with a magnetic grommet tool, NOT the one I', reviewing).It's decent, has 6 different sized punches (well indicated), it's easy to use and a good weight (ie, not too flimsy, it actually goes through even thick leather without flinching).One star loss though for having to put the punch ''star'' in a half position to stash it (with the handle loop), as that will knacker the retaining spring fast
