Purchased to go on winter touring bike powered from shimano 6V3W dyno hub for use on mainly unlit country lanes.value for money 5/5light and beam 4/5utility and installation 4/5for less than £25 delivered, hard to fault this unit without sounding picky. Cant comment on whether the 70 lux is true, but it is a sufficiently bright beam for use on unlit country roads, caveat that by saying best on roads that you know rather than for crashing down a twisty potholed 1 in 4 death slide at 40 MPH (unless you are a real thrill seeker).Beam shape is adequate and when angled correctly, does not dazzle oncoming cars, but projects a fair distance ahead with useful light. when set correctly, there is a rather poorly lit band out to between 5 to 7m then a bright cone of useful but diminishing light out to about 25m. within that range obstructions, potholes, road edge detail etc are well picked out. beyond 25m, light is sufficient to pick out twists and turns etc. The dark band close to the bike is not really an issue as I tend to be concentrating on the area of road +5m ahead of the bike and beyond.Light is solid and without flicker at speeds above 5 MPHStand light function is OK - bit mean as it is only about 1/3 of full light and gradually gets dimmer and dies altogether after about 3 minutes. Switch is off, auto, on, difficult to operate with gloves, but then you could just leave on auto all the time if you wish - needs to be a fairly bright day to turn off when on auto.Ideally, could wish it was about 50 to 70% brighter with a better controlled beam, but realistically this would put you in the range of B&M IQ100 or Edelux products at 4 to 5 times the price.So at less than £35 (with Axa blueline rear light) it is a competent and satisfactory winter lighting system for my riding, that doesn't require a second mortgage to afford and is fit and forget. Think how far we have come since the dark days (literally) of the old nEver Ready bike lamp and rejoice.

Diese neue Led-Lampe hat meinen alten Halogen-Scheinwerfer ersetzt und leuchtet deutlich Kräftiger und heller als die alte.Leider war auf meinem Modell bereits ein Kratzer auf der Plastikscheibe drauf.Zur Montage am Seitendynamo:Solltet ihr ein älteres Fahrrad haben und noch eine einpolige Kabelführung haben (Nur ein Kabel führt von der Lampe weg, der Rahmen ist die Masse +) könnt ihr die beiden längeren Kabel wegbinden oder gar abschneiden.Das schwarz ummantelte Kabel kann an den bestehenden Anschluss angeschlossen werden und das schwarze-weiße Kabel (+) muss an einer blanken stelle am Rahmen verbunden werden. (darauf achten, dass die Stelle nicht lackiert oder beschichtet ist!)
