In Verbindung mit dem Proxxon Bohrschleifer Industrieausführung fehlte mir noch das Handstück für diffizile Arbeiten. Da kommt die Proxxon Biegewelle gerade recht. Sie ist leicht, liegt gut in der Hand und kann - im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes - flexibel eingesetzt werden. Besonders günstig ist das mitgelieferte Bohrfutter, das lästiges Einsetzen und Wechseln von Bohreinsätzen während der Arbeit überflüssig macht. Außerdem gehört der Spannzangensatz bereits zum Grundgerät, so dass eine Doppelausstattung vermieden wird. So hat man wahlweise die präziseren Spannzangen, z. B. am Grundgerät, und das bequemer zu handhabende Bohrfutter, z. B. am Handstück, je nach Anforderung an die Präzision zur Verfügung. Beim ersten Hantieren fiel mir durch Fehlbedienung das Bohrfutter in seine 9 Einzelteile auseinander. Die einzel gefederten Spannbacken, im Dreieck lose angeordnet, ließen sich zum Glück durch Überstülpen der Führungsmutter leicht wieder zusammensetzen mit dem Gefühl des Anfängers, das Gerät in seiner Funktion verstanden zu haben und zu beherrschen. Die technische Ausführung der Biegewelle ist sehr solide und von sehr guter Qualität. Alles lässt sich etwa zu Wartungszwecken (z. B. Einölen der Federwelle) ohne Werkzeuge (de-)montieren; die Biegewelle ist also sehr wartungs- und reparaturfreundlich. Ein Wermutstropfen bleibt: das Arbeitsgeräusch ist insbesondere bei hohen Drehzahlen zwar vibrationsarm, aber recht laut, lässt sich jedoch (ohne Punkteabzug) gerade noch verkraften. Alles in allem eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

After reading through the reviews I was hesitant to purchase this (as many gave negative comments), but went for it anyway - very glad I did, as it is very comfortable to use and control - had no issues after using it on and off for more than 5hrs. Those who complained about heat and bearing noise were simply not using it correctly - just be sure you hang the Rotary Tool securely and in such a way as to not cause excess looping in the flexishaft. I purchased this along with the Proxxon 28512 Drilling and Milling Machine Micromot 60 / EF , the Proxxon 28706 Power Supply NG 2/S and the Proxxon 28700 Foot Switch FS - And I'm very pleased with all of them. I deliberated over the purchase for days, watching YouTube reviews and reading the Feedback on Amazon...almost went with the Dremel , but glad I didn't. Highly recommend to anyone in the same predicament.

I purchased this flex shaft entirely based on the reviews. The other model Proxxon flex shaft reviewers said there were problems with vibration so I went with this model.The flex shaft is VERY flexible and the aluminum hand piece is well made. The first time I attached the flex shaft to my Proxxon rotary tool I inserted the male end into the coupling about half way and when I turned the rotary tool on I was greeted with all kinds of noise and vibration. I was disappointed but I decided to try a few things before sending the flex shaft to the bottom of the tool box. I loosened the rotary tool's coupling and fully inserted the male end of the flex shaft into the coupling. There is a metal stop the coupling will bottom out on. I restarted the rotary tool and the noise and vibration were significantly reduced. You get so use to the Proxxon rotary tool being so quiet and smooth by itself that you are spoiled into thinking it should be this way all of the time.The flex shaft is very flexible even when running. When you insert a tool into the flex shaft coupling you will need a 4mm or smaller rod to lock the flex shaft to tighten the coupling. There isn't a lock button on the flex shaft and if you try to use the lock button on the rotary tool the steel cable inside of the flex shaft is too flexible to allow you to tighten the flex shaft's coupling. I just happen to have a long thin screwdriver that fit through the hole in the flex shaft handle to tighten the coupling. This hole is the black dot you see in the picture closer to the coupling end of the hand piece.I used the flex shaft for two hours straight and there were no signs of heat anywhere in the shaft or hand piece. I am very pleased with this tool and I would recommend it for any rotary tool brand.
