So far super happy with the tool.I have used it to install prym eyelets and plastic snap buttons and it worked very nicely. The plastic feels sturdy and the soft grippy material on the handle feels good and secure in the hand.The base of the tool is pretty narrow and it may be a bit wobbly, so the fact that table clamp attachment is available for it makes sense. That said, the tool has a good weight to it and by no means the table clamp is necessary.There is a screw that limits the range of the shaft and it's very handy not just for rivets, but also for plastic snap buttons because it's easy to apply too much force and break a plastic snap when you can really put your weight on it.A note to be realistic and understand that this is a tool for a home sewist not a heavy duty tool for professionals and there may be cases that it cannot handle. I did try to install also some unknown brand 14mm eyelets that I had at home and it was not a success - Those eyelets were too hard. I did manage to get the eyelet parts to hold together, but did not manage to get them to fold over. I did press pretty hard, but at some point I just did not want to apply more force to a tool made of plastic.

If you want ease of use and what you attach to your crafts to be secure and look professional do not hesitate to buy. It is expensive but worth it in the end.I have all of the other tools that do the same job and none of them work better than this tool.If you have arthritis in your hands I recommend this tool as you do not have to use a lot of pressure with your hands.It does not come with a lot of attachments so be mindful that you are going to have to buy more attachments separately and if you buy a lot of them you will need to get a compartment container to store the attachments.

Used pliers for attaching Prym poppers etc for years. They work but one hand holding the pliers creates a variable when lining up poppers etc. This Prym gadget is a must have. Both hands free to line up fabric on a solid surface, once in place its easy to press the handle down to assure an even, squarely lined up pressure on the stud to attach to the fabric. Although only attachments enclosed are the variety of hole cutters, I have a stash of popper attaching tools from the packets bought over the years. Great price, quick dispatch from the EU, took just a few days, perfect.
