This is a beautiful, sturdy, and spacious sewing basket. The tray inside is made of sturdy plastic, stronger than I expected. The navy blue color of the exterior patterned fabric is so dark it is almost black (which is fine with me). The seller packaged this sewing basket with great care and it arrived intact in Texas, all the way from Italy.I liked that I could buy this sewing basket without accessories, as I prefer to provide my own measuring tape, pins, seam ripper, and so forth. (Other baskets include those accessories but then charge an extra $30 for them when they are not half that much!) As a result, I found this basket to be a good value for the price (around $40).The only drawback to this basket is one that other sewing baskets share: you cannot put anything in the top tray that is "taller" than the actual tray, as then it becomes difficult to close the lid. (This includes "tall" spools of thread, an extra pin cushion, etc.) As I said, this is true of other sewing baskets, too.Overall, I am delighted with this sewing basket and expecting many years of enjoyment from it.

Ich habe mir den Nähkorb bestellt, um meinen altern Nähkorb zu ersetzen. Ich dachte eigentlich fast, dass nicht alles in den neuen Korb hineinpassen würde, wurde aber eines besseren belehrt.Es passt mehr hinein als gedacht und zudem sieht er noch schick aus!Zugegeben, die Plastikteile wirken nicht ganz so hochwertig, aber fallen bisher nicht ins Gewicht.
