I use these to close our open bottom duvet covers and that works well (I wash them on 60C)!

I purchased these last January which was a few months into my new venture of learning to make clothing. I had used them at the start and knew they were good but further into and much more confident in my baby clothing, I thought in stead of buttons I would try these again not remembering how good they were. They are absolutely fabulous. They are so easy to install too...well this coat was a layer of cotton and polyester and all I had to do after marking the spots to put them was to push the spike through the fabric...no tool needed for that at all. To set them I used the Prym Love Vario Pliers and they are solidly set...because the coat is for a 3 year old, I tested several times and they not only don't come away, they close really solidly. I am very pleased with these snaps and will be using again as have another grandchild on the way. Don't worry about these snaps coming away when being worn by the child as once set properly with the Prym pliers, which is simply squeezing them together, they are there to stay. There are several videos to watch installation of these snaps to help should you need it. Strongly recommended.
