The design is nice and easy to use.The handle is actually in two separate parts, the white and the blue, the blue part being textured plastic that gives a nice grip, and the white part being rubbery and fits nicely in your hand. When you want to store the pointed end safely, all you need to do is take the white part out from the handle and place it on the opposite end, where it softly clicks into place.The tool itself does everything it's supposed to and sharp enough to poke through fibers easily. The metal part doesn't snag or get caught on anything. It's probably not the cheapest awl, though it's not exactly expensive, but the extra cost for comfort and quality is worth it.

Die Prym Ahle ist super!Habe vor ein paar Tagen das Prym Strickpüppchen bestellt, jedoch ist der beigelegte Strickpinn viel zu klein für mich und aus Kunststoff. Mit der Ahle von Prym geht das Stricken wie im Flug, weil sie super in der Hand liegt.Gut finde ich auch das man das weiße Ende herausziehen und über die (Metall-)Nadel stülpen kann.Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Je l'ai acheté pour faire de la reliure en vue d'une conception de carnet. Ne l'ai pas encore essayé mais a l'air d'être solide. J'aime bien le protège pointe, assez ergonomique. Ça a pris juste plus de temps que prévu pour la livraison, mais ce n'est pas grave. Je suis satisfaite de voir des vendeurs livrer la Guyane française gratuitement ou à bas prix!Merci

I got this for texturing eva foam. I was previously using one that had a handle like a small screwdriver. After working on over 400 feathers my hand hurt so bad I had to stop working on the project. This came & I was actually able to work on it again! This is so much more comfortable & easier to hold!
