I knit constantly, I take knitting to work to do in my lunch break, and I have a large stash of yarn. I have now developed arthritis in my fingers and have peripheral neuropathy and feared I would have to stop knitting. That was until I discovered these needles! They are very different from anything else on the market.They are flexible and if your hands are inclined to be tense they will bend, this seems a bit alarming at first but if you can relax then so do the needles! If you can't change your style at all then the flexibility stops them digging into the nodules that arthritis puts onto your joints.They have a triangular shape in the middle which makes gripping them easier, before my hands were this sore I used square needles and in the same way that they even up your tension I found after a few rows these were the same. Maybe my fingers were not as tired as quickly so my tension stayed consistent.They have a little bobble at the end, I'm used to very pointy knit pros so at first was sceptical but now I love it! I've been doing a pattern that has a cable done over 2 sts and it is easy to knit into the 2nd stitch leaving the first on the needle because the bobble guides the wool.Lastly they clip together, they don't clip tightly but enough to keep stitches on the needle and it has helped me break an awful habit of stabbing the spare needle into my work when I put it down.I've bought my most used sizes now, sock needles, 3.5mm 4mm and a circular needle and I'm waiting for a 4.5mm. As finances permit I will buy a few more pairs.I'm so happy that I no longer wake up with my hands completely numb and looking like claws! I get a bit of stiffness and tingling if I've been knitting but now hope I can use up my stash instead of having to sell it.
