I placed an order for a replacement "Dress makers Tape measure" for a family member who advised that they were looking for one with a "long metal" start (upto 10cm/4 inch).When I saw this product i checked the reviews and saw that there was a mixed response as to what item would turn up. But as I was unable to find any elsewhere in stock, I thought i would see if this turned out to be what they were looking for.Placed the order, delivery took up to 7 days, but well within the detailed delivery time scale and before Amazon reported the item as delivered.Upon arrival I can say I received the item as shown in the product picture. The markings on the measure appear to be accurate to approx '0.5 mm' across the whole tape measure, which for something like this is pretty good.My only gripe is that it is not detailed anywhere on the product page that it would be a loose item with "No Packaging". This for me is a little annoying as you cannot guarantee that the item is "Actually Brand New" as it is not sealed in packaging.Other than that I would advise for the price this is worth while tape measure.

Calidad y medicion totalmente correctos. Es uno de los lejores metros que he usado. Llevo varios meses usandolo y todavia no se han borrado los numeros. Lo volveria a comprar sin duda

Plastique un peu rigide, c'est dommage, il a tendance à se dérouler facilement quand on le roule sur lui-même. Pour le reste, il ressemblera aux mètres de couturière de votre jeunesse : couleur jaune, 150cm, un oeillet métal à chaque extrémité. C'est dommage qu'il soit beaucoup plus facile de trouver ce type d'article sur internet qu'autour de chez soi, mais bon...

The item in the photo was what I wanted and thought I was ordering, dual scale and with the long metal end…..what was delivered was single scale and with no long metal end. I paid extra for this item to come from England, when I live in USA…..I could’ve got this type of tape measure from any old store in America. Really disappointed as this is false advertising.
