A quilter, binding the outer edge of my quilts is always the last task and I hate it. My own binding never seems to work out the way I want it too, but I couldn't find a inder big enough to help me do the job. Then I found this 50mm tool and I am delighted. A few minutes at the ironing board and I have perfect binding. It was a bit fiddly at first until I found a rhythm, but now my quilts look how I want them to and the finish is much more professional and tidy. This is an essential tool in my sewing box and I will be buying other sizes soon.

Me es de mucha utilidad para las colchas de patchwork.... ya no puedo estar sin él .... es muxo mas sencillo. Lo recomienso sin duda ¡¡

J'ai plusieurs appareils de ce type (différentes largeurs) pour faire du biais maison.Celui-ci est à mon avis le plus utile de la série, car les biais très larges ne se trouvent guère tout faits. J'en ai fait une vingtaine de mètres pour border des plaids : c'est amorti dès la première utilisation.C'est très facile à utiliser, le tissu se plie et on repasse à la sortie. Il faut bien préparer sa bande au niveau des raccords pour éviter que ça coince, et prévoir beaucoup de patience et de vapeur.Si cet appareil avait des oreilles pour le fixer sur la planche à repasser avec des épingles, on pourrait tirer d'une main et repasser de l'autre en continu, ça irait plus vite.
