Ik had hoge verwachtingen van dit windscherm voor mijn motor, maar helaas ben ik erg teleurgesteld. De klemmen die gebruikt worden om het windscherm te monteren zijn uitermate zwak en breken snel. De grijpers die dit windscherm vastklemt aan je normale windscherm glijden na een spatje water al alle kanten op. Dit maakt het product onbetrouwbaar en onveilig in gebruik. Het is ook zeer makkelijk om de schroefjes net iets te strak aan te draaien waardoor deze geen grip meer heeft in het plastic.Kortom, het montage systeem is zeer teleurstellend. Ik kan dit windscherm dan ook niet aanraden.

While driving and overtaking, the windshield came flying of at around 150kph. Even hit my fellow motorcyclist..Puigs customer service doesn't feel like reacting at all.

Producto de muy buena calidad. Una vez fijado no se mueve.Respecto al aire, se nota la diferencia, lo añadí a la cupula que tenia y ahora voy con la visiera del casco abierta.

Fa il suo lavoro, ma la qualità costruttiva degli attacchi sono orribili, in pratica al posto di usare bulloni e dadi bloccanti, si usano viti che filettano direttamente nella plastica dei supporti, rischiando di spanare le sedi

I have a 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT which is an awesome bike. But because an unusual amount of my 6 ft height is attributable to my torso length, I have a heck of a time getting windshields to work well for me. I bought the bike used with a MSR windshield which was way too low and too raked back. At highest setting flow hit me at the chin of the helmet.So for years I have used a MadStad windshield that works pretty well. But it uses a non standard mounting structure (had to remove the stock one) and I generally do not find it very attractive. Kind of kills the look of the bike. So I decided to get a Puig touring shield (not the visor.....that is coming later).The Puig is very stylish, high quality, and uses the Yamaha mounting structure. I liked the way it looked and it worked well at the low location for hotter days. But for longer rides where I was looking for max protection from wind and rain, and to minimize fatigue, it just wasn't high enough at the highest setting. Wind hit my helmet at around the nose to eyes level.So I thought I would give this Puig Visor a try to hopefully keep from having to reinstall the MadStad for longer rides.The bottom line is I like it. Some people have mentioned mounting and retention issues. But I found if you cleaned the windshield with alcohol and let it completely dry prior to install per the instructions, I have had no issues.I really like both the height and angle adjustability of the visor. I have even found it to work pretty well when the larger Puig windshield is at the lowest setting and the visor is also at the lowest setting. I think the bike looks best with this configuration.So bottom line for me is that for a fairly low cost I get a stylish and functional solution that is very flexible in terms of the permutations of different main and visor settings. I think most body sizes will probably be satisfied with the visor as long as the base windshield is tall enough on its own.
