This product does not fit an 05 fjr it fouls the wing mirrors and prevent the screen from being fully retracted.

When I bought this I need just a little better protection than the stock windshield. I also wanted a little tint to it. This fulfilled both of these requirements in spades. Not only that I found all of sudden I was being talked to by young pretty girls. They would come up and ask "Is that a PUIG?" of course I would reply it sure was and then they would ask me for a ride and commenting on how sexy it was. My wife would then give me "the look" and the moment was over...Okay, it probably won't get you dates but it will do a great job of keeping the wind and rain off you. I am over 6 foot and the stock windshield was horrible for wind buffeting and seemed no matter what position I had it in the wind noise was horrible. (kinda like "the look" horrible) This cured a lot of this and I am able to keep it in a lower position on a normal basis and when getting into the rain raising it from there. Well worth the investment.

Warum diese Scheibe nicht von Yamaha selbst gebaut wurde, kann ich nicht verstehen. Sie ist von der Form her viel besser als das Original, auch die Stabilität des Materials ist absolut in Ordnung. Die Scheibe ist deutlich höher, gerade auf der Autobahn macht sich das sehr positiv bemerkbar. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

very east to install. higher than original so summertime is slightly warmer. keeps most all wind off of your body.
