Pure MomentDi piacevole aspetto, sia bianca che nera, offre tutte le qualità di una uno strumento dedicato al controllo del nostro riposo.Nelle varie recensioni alcuni trovano difficoltà a ’navigare’ nei menù per impostare le opzioni disponibili. Il sistema adottato è comune a pressoché tutti gli apparati dotati di poco spazio per tasti dedicati. Con un poco di attenzione , pazienza e lo scarno manuale si programma il tutto. Non mi dilungo nei dettagli.Qualità audio: buona con un’enfasi sulle frequenze medio basse adattabile al propio gusto con l’equalizzatore. Pensiamo all’uso alla quale è destinato il Pure Moment: radio sveglia, non terminale di una catena hi-fi. La sensibilità e la selettività sono nella norma.Ergonomia: i tasti dedicati alle funzioni di base sono ben posizionati.Display: ampio e ben leggibile anche se non è oled. Una particolarità che non ho trovato sul ‘manuale’ : il tasto con la casetta a sinistra della manopola del volume, se premuto in stand by, varia la posizione/dimensione dell’indicazione dell’ora.E’ dotato di batteria tampone che è deputata a mantiene le impostazioni in caso di mancanza di alimentazione elettrica. Una particolarità non comune che può fare la differenza.Un buon prodotto.

I think the people at Pure decided to make the perfect bedside alarm clock radio. They probably listed all the functions their customers might want: a choice of DAB+ and FM radio; a choice of time display styles; brightness adjustment for the display to match either the ambient room lighting or the customer's preference; a neat little nightlight, again with adjustable brightness; up to ten different alarms, each operating at the chosen time and for the chosen days of the week; of course the alarm can wake you with FM or DAB+ radio or the buzzer, optionally with the nightlight coming on before the alarm, and with the alarm coming on either abruptly or gently fading in according to your preference; a backup battery so it doesn't forget the settings in a power outage; a user-configurable sleep function so you can drift off listening to the radio or one of the many built-in sounds (white noise, a crackling log fire, the sound of rain, a car ride, a tube train, and countless others); bluetooth pairing so you can listen to music from your smartphone on the Pure Moment's excellent (mono) speaker; and it's in a compact case that occupies little space on the bedside table (although there is a separate mains adapter to gather dust on the floor).Packing all of these functions into a clock with as few buttons as possible does mean that some controls serve several purposes depending upon context. E.G. The radio has a fairly usual knob to turn to adjust the radio volume but when setting the nightlight brightness or the display brightness the knob also does this; when choosing from a multi-choice list that same knob cycles through the options; this knob is also used if you opt to tune the FM radio manually, to set the alarm times and days, and for several other purposes. Some buttons behave differently depending upon whether they're briefly tapped or held down for 2 seconds. This can be confusing until you've learnt your way around.As other reviewers here have said, there's no comprehensive user manual. You get a Quick Start Guide that shows how to set up the clock, set the alarm, tune the radio channels, label favourite radio stations, and use all the major capabilities but it doesn't cover everything. After using the clock for a week I wondered if, instead of the radio or buzzer, could I set the alarm to wake me with birdsong which is one of the built-in sounds? The answer is yes you can but I don't think it's documented so I just experimented and found it. I recommend that you work through all the examples in the Quick Start Guide whether or not you need them. Then you'll understand what was in the mind of the designer and realise that most of these settings are arranged fairly intelligently. There are also some helpful tips and a few videos on the Pure Moment web pages if you get stuck.My conclusion is that this clock is very near perfect. If you want a clock that is high quality and versatile, and if you can afford it, buy this one. If you need alarms to wake you at different times on different days, this will do it. In an ideal world I would like the buttons on the top of the clock to be illuminated when the nightlight is switched on so that I could see which button to press in the middle of the night. Also, the radio antenna, which is just a length of wire hanging from the back, gives worse FM radio reception than a normal transistor radio with a telescopic aerial but thankfully in my home DAB radio offers clear reception on all the main stations. Finally there's a USB socket on the back of the radio but I can't find any mention of what it's for. It's not the increasingly standard USB-C so I haven't got a suitable connector to try plugging in my phone.

Ist der Radiowecker in allen Bereichen perfekt? Nein, wohl nicht. Der Klang ist eher etwas zu dumpf, da wäre ein hochwertigerer Lautsprecher für den Preis wohl möglich gewesen. Auch eine gute deutsche Bedienungsanleitung (kein englisches Bilderrätsel) wäre schon schön. Allerdings findet man aussagekräftige Videos zur Einstellung auf der deutschen Herstellerseite. ABER, der Rest ist so gut, dass die kleinen Mängel für mich nicht ins Gewicht fallen. Hat man die Bedienung der Tasten einmal durchgespielt und verinnerlicht geht es ratzfatz. Nun zu den Vorteilen:- Es gibt eine Favoritentaste, wo man seine bevorzugten Sender und Klänge abspeichern kann.- Die Klänge sind, gerade abends zum Einschlafen, so beruhigend.- Das Nachtlicht und das Radio/die Klänge können leicht mit einem Timer eingestellt werden.- Der Dab+ und UKW-Empfang sind bei mir einwandfrei.- Der Wecker ist so vielfälltig einstellbar - egal ob für einen Tag, oder mehrere Tage in der Woche gleichzeitig -, besser geht es m.E. nicht.- Die Helligkeit des Displays kann für den Betrieb und den Ruhemodus separat mit zwei voreingestellten Möglichkeiten (automatisch hell und automatisch dunkel) und wahlweise auch manuell eingestellt werden.- Und die allerbeste Option überhaupt, die ich so sonst noch nirgens gefunden habe: Man kann die Helligkeit des Displays im Ruhemodus auf null einstellen. Will man jedoch die Uhrzeit sehen, genügt ein Dreh am Regler und die Uhrzeit wird kurz angezeigt. Anschließend wird das Display von alleine wieder dunkel. Nach dieser Möglichkeit habe ich lange gesucht, es ist einfach fantastisch.- Zusätzlich finde ich das Retrodesign super niedlich und auch die dunkelschokobraune Farbe passt m.E. sehr gut dazu.Nun hoffe ich, dass nicht nur das Design sondern auch die Haltbarkeit retro ist. Sollten sich kurzfristig Mängel einstellen, werde ich meine Bewertung überarbeiten.

Snygg design men krångliga inställningar. Ljudet låter mycket dovt.

Design dat ik wou; check. Formaat dat ik wou; check. Functies die ik wou; check.Heel tevreden. Cijfers perfecte formaat en helderheid. Heel goede geluidskwaliteit. Veel aangename sounds. Aangenaam wake-up-light. En veel praktische mogelijkheden/instellingen. Je moet even een half uurtje de gebruiksaanwijzing (met duidelijke pictogrammen) doornemen, maar dit loont zeker de moeite. Dit toestel is zijn geld waard.
