This was a great find! I have used it for my desk and keep my laptop on it. I put it together within a few minutes and it has been very sturdy ever since. It is very nice. I recommend it. You can also put it together more than one way and comes with parts for both ways of using it.

Je l’ai pris pour un setup hybride : d’abord avec le plateau pour poser un écran portable 15’’ en extension de mon PC, puis sans le plateau pour soutenir mon écran Samsung Odyssey 24’’.Le montage est intuitif, Les réglages en hauteur et en inclinaison sont fluides, et une fois ajusté, ça tient parfaitement en place sans s’affaisser. Par contre, si on serre trop fort, la manipulation devient un peu rigide, donc mieux vaut trouver le bon équilibre.Le gain de place est vraiment appréciable : fini le pied d’écran qui monopolise le bureau ! Mention spéciale pour la gestion des câbles, bien pensée, qui évite d’avoir un enchevêtrement disgracieux derrière l’écran.En bref, ce bras est polyvalent et bien conçu, que ce soit avec ou sans le plateau. Il fait parfaitement le job et améliore nettement le confort de travail.

Given the price this is really decent laptop mount!One thing to note is that it will not "stay down" when you remove the laptop, this is fairly logical given the weight of the laptop counters the mount's gas spring.

I've now been using this stand for a month for my work laptop when working from home, and I've got to say I am very satisfied, although it's not the best in term of assembly ergonomics, it is actually sturdy, holds the laptop firmly thanks to the plastic locking stoppers on each side that allows both to center the laptop on the mount. Although they hold it firmly they are easy to open with one hand quickly to take the laptop out when having to go out.The arm comes pre-lubed and the friction is good enough to keep things in place.There are two mounting option, for through hole in the desk or clamping and clamping accommodates a surprisingly large amount of desk thicknesses.For the price, it definitely does the job, as I said only downside is the original unboxing experience but given the fact that once mounted it holds, I can't but recommend it.
