Damaged box but item was alright. Unit is fairly light, but would not want to hold it out for hours. Looks and feels solid enough. Siren on half volume was killer loud and voice amplification is volumous. It will carry your voice a long long way and loud. Music through aux is not near as clear as a dedicated Bluetooth, but then again, that's not what this is primarily used for. Sounds okay, just sounds like it's coming through a megaphone...........One curiosity, the handset is perfectly functional but looks like it came right out of 1960. No problem, just noticed it that way.Got this specifically to scare bears up north and scared me when that siren went off half volume. For $100 it's perfectly acceptable, just take care as always............... not for seal team 6.

I discovered when it arrived that the battery charger has a US plug on it, so had to buy a converter to adapt it for UK plug sockets. Rather annoying, and not mentioned anywhere in the description.
