Left the hedge clippers sit too long and the carb got gummed up. Make sure you have spark so you aren't trying to solve the wrong problem. Any engine needs fuel, air, and spark. I could get the hedge clipper running by adding a couple drops of gas right into the carb throat with the air cleaner removed- so I knew it was a fuel supply issue. For the time it takes to disassemble, clean, and rebuild one of these little carbs it only made sense to just buy a brand new one and leave fiddling the the old one to a rainy day. The carb came the next day - on a Sunday. Neatly packed in a box inside a padded envelope. Exactly as described in the listing. It was an exact match for the Echo HC-152 carb. Swapped it out and the engine started nicely on the third pull. BTW, before this the problem was that is it started at all it would barely run and only run with full choke- indicating a fuel supply issue. Also, take note of how the throttle cable attaches. The is a very small split ring ( miniature version of a keyring ) that is stretched over the brass bit into which the trottle cable end attaches. Its purpose is to retain the throttle cable and not let it slip out of that brass bit when in use. Don't lose that little ring. Slide it off the brass nub gently and it should basically just stay on the throttle cable. Without removing it, you can't get the throttle cable out. You shouldn't have to futz with the 10mm nut that holds the trottle cable assembly in place except to maybe loosen it a 1/2 turn allowing you to now slide the cable assembly free. All of this is pretty obvious when right in front of the machine. BOTTOME LINE- this carb was an exact replacement- fit perfect- worked perfect. Would buy again even it it was a couple bucks more than another comparable carb. They included a business card with a number to call if you have an issue. Now, who is gonna rake up all this crap I just trimmed?

Product worked as expected, fairly quick shipping, but does not co.e with gaskets. You should replace gaskets if you replace carb so I would think they would come with carb. Other carbs came with gaskets but shipping was 2-3 weeks. Had to order this carb and gaskets from another supplier to be able to return to my customer in a reasonable time.
