I turned it on, followed the steps and it worked flawlessly. Saw a bunch of common issues in my online research but had none of them! I had an issue with the nozzle being stuck and customer service straight up offered a replacement hot end rather than making it my problem. Would buy again!

I purchased this printer after seeing many fantastic reviews on YouTube. I have purchased a Creality K1C before, also after seeing the reviews, but boy, did that machine suck. It came jammed, and has jammed nearly every time I tried to use it. Plus, Creality’s customer support is horrid.Enter the Qidi Q1 pro. It worked straight out of the box, and I was pleasantly surprised that initial issues raised by reviewers had been solved in my device (it has two build plate stoppers instead of one, the heater was now covered, and the filament holder was sturdy). It has been a joy to print with. The photos added are all prints by the qidi, in abs (a supposedly tricky material), tpu, Petg, and pla. While I had some fails, the vast majority of prints comes out close to flawless without altering too many settings. The automatic bed leveling is great, and what i really love is that the machine is really quiet. When the extruder is moving, you barely hear the machine at all. It also comes with a double sided Pei plate out of the box and it works really well. It comes with a filament runout sensor that is located on the extruder. This means that when your filament runs out, you actually have nothing left, rather than a large string of unused filament that you get when the filament runout sensor is on the outside of the machine. It also has a filament tangle sensor that pauses the print when a tangle in the spool is detected. That sensor saved me so many failed prints that I would not want to have a printer without one. The machine is also very sturdy and solid. It doesn’t vibrate as much as the Creality. For €440, the price at which I bought it, the machine feels like a steel!Are there nitpicks to mention? Sure. The software on the printer is perhaps not as polished as on the Bambu or Creality, but it does the job just fine. Sometimes the server settings are a bit slow, and I have to refresh it every time, but ultimately it works just fine. Same for the qidi screen interface, it works fine but is not as responsive as it could be. If you primarily work from the slicer that is no issue. Both the slicer and the qidi link app have small interface bugs, nothing major though. Things that you might like, such as a carbon filter (useful for abs which is toxic), are not included but can be printed with links on the qidi website, and work great. Unlike Creality and Bambu, you can’t print models from your phone, qidi does not have a 3D model service online. But all this can be fixed with further updates and is not a big issue anyway. Don’t let these nitpicks discourage you from buying this printer, if you just want to print beautiful objects, this is the one for you 😀.Three more important things to mention: it runs on klipper, and the machine is as open source as can be. Qidi has excellent explanations of all the tech in the machine, which gives me hope that with time, the printer can be made even better if new components come out, or have failed components easily replaced . Moreover, their customer service is excellent, they reply quickly and really help. They even follow up on the problems and are polite as well. If this will be your first printer, you won’t be disappointed. It performs very well and is the cheapest machine to do so as well. Thank you QIDI. I am very happy with the machine! The five stars are truly deserved.

Reçu l'imprimante il y a 4 jours et déjà en panne, grave...Elle a bien imprimée 3 modèles, et lors d'une réimpression un objet déjà imprimé sans problèmes, patatra! Par chance j'étais devant pour couper la machine... Quand je vois le résultat, je ne sait pas ce qu'il se serait passé.Je vous laisse juger avec les images...Dommage car la simplicité d'utilisation, la propreté des impressions et la vitesse d'exécution est fort agréable.Je vais maintenant voir comment le support s'en sort.Édit: a peine quelques jours après contact avec le support de Qidi (échanges clairs et rapides), j'ai reçu de nouvelles pièces pour arrangé totalement le problème.Tout était nickel... Je passe donc de 2 étoiles à 5 sans problème...

Ich gebe für diesen Drucker gerne 5 Sterne.Ich habe meinen Q1-PRO jetzt seit September und habe über 800 Stunden Druck hinter mir.Aber von Anfang an. Ich Habe den Drucker im September 24 bekommen und aufgestellt. Kalibrierungen durchlaufen lassen und Benchy gedruckt. War alles Perfekt.Dann habe ich mir das Mesh in Fluidd angesehen und festgestellt, dass trotz perfektem Druck beim Druckbett mal eine manuelle Nivellierung angebracht wäre. Gesagt getan. Auch hierbei hilft der Drucker durch ein einfach zu folgendes Menü. Dieses sollte in regelmäßigen Abständen gemacht werden und gehört für mich zur Wartung des Druckers.Nach ca. 300 Stunden Druck dann das erste mal einen riesigen Filamentklumpen am Extruder gehabt. Ich konnte diesen jedoch durch Erwärmen und mit etwas Zeit entfernen. Das einzige was hierbei kaputt gegangen ist war die Silikonhülle. Nach einigen Recherchen was da passiert sein könnte, habe ich den Fehler gefunden. Ich habe beim Slicendie Unterstützung weggelassen, wodurch der Druck ins nichts gedruckt hat.Anwendungsfehler. Drucker unschuldig.Dann diese Woche, der Drucker bleibt beim nivellieren hängen. Erst nach 10 min gehts weiter (Probe samples exceed tolerance. Retrying...). Ich habe mich an den Support gewandt. Eine Antwort mit Hilfestellung und Handlungsvorschlägen kam innerhalb 6. Stunden, mit einer Entschuldigung das sie erst jetzt antworten :-)) .Problem konnte schnell behoben werden.Gedruckt habe ich zig Filamentarten, Marken, und Sorten. Mit den vorgegebenen Einstellungen einwandfrei.Jetzt aber doch noch was nicht so schönes. Warum um Himmels Willen ist der Ein- und Ausschalter auf der Rückseite verbaut.DennochMein Fazit:Wer einen hochwertigen Drucker haben möchte, der einfach zu bedienen ist, der alles druckt und wenn doch mal ein Problem auftaucht einen sehr guten Support wünscht, ist mit dem Q1-PRO bestens bedient.

Parto dal presupposto che sono un neofita nella stampa 3d. Ma questa stampante è davvero una bomba!! Sono riuscito a stampare io riuscirete anche voi. È davvero facile stampare. Dovete prima fare il download dello slicer qidi che serve per stampare, ossia dove caricare i file stl che convertirà in file obj e dove potete impostare tutti i parametri di stampa che ovviamente io ho lasciato così di default e vedo che stampa da dio. Poi piano piano imparerò i vari settaggi. La stampante arriva con un paio, forse tre metri di filo, giusto per fare una stampa di prova, quindi vi conviene ordinare anche una bobina in pla, io ne ho presa una pla + e devo dire che va molto bene.. Sono davvero contento del mio acquisto. Succederà che si faranno errori di stampaggio, soprattutto per via dei supporti che bisogna settare per figure un po' grandi, difatti la mano ha un dito monco, si è staccata una falange ed è stato un mio errore perché in fase di stampa dal pc il programma me lo diceva che sarebbe potuto succedere, ma non l'ho ascoltato ed è uscita monca di una falange, ma per il resto è perfetta.. Quindi, consiglio vivamente questa stampante 3d
