Der Name hat mich erst etwas abgeschreckt, da es doch sehr nach China klingt. Vom Produkt an sich war ich umso überraschter. 1A Display mit vielen Infos (im Gegensatz zu Konkurrenten wie Airthings etc.), genaue Sensoren (laut Reviews einer kalifornischen Umweltbehörde, welche solche Sensoren getestet hat sogar einer der genauesten), der PM Sensor lässt sich sogar ausstauschen! Das Lüftergeräusch ist sehr leise und nach weniger als einem Meter Entfernung schon nicht mehr warnehmbar. Alle in allem ein sehr gutes Produkt.

This has the makings of a great air quality monitor.The problem is the software has bugs and the firmware update process doesn't work - so they can't ever be fixed.Also because of its bugs, it can't connect to the Internet and you can't therefore connect to the app.I could live without the app if it wasn't for the bugs.After an hour I spotted the following bugs:1) It can't connect to the Internet. Well actually it can - it does connect ok to my WiFi and my router shows the device as connected ok and fully working. But when you try and do anything Internet related it reports issues - even though the device reports its connection status as fine.1) You can't set a location for air quality updates as it can't connect to the Internet. If you search for a location such as say London, it just has a spinning circle appear and nothing ever happens.2) It can't automatically set the time and time zone for the clock because it can't connect to the Internet3) The screen auto brightness is way too dim4) Noise detection doesn't work well - showing incorrect values and taking a lot time to spot changes in noise5) You can't connect to the iOS or Android app for the device because it can't connect to the Internet6) It can't download updates to fix issues because it can't connect to the Internet. So all the issues above which could be fixed via an update can't be - because it can't connect to the Internet7) I only used it for a few hours so I suspect there's a whole load of other bugs I've not spotted and which can't be solved because it can't connect to the InternetYou can see a theme here - its inability to download via the Internet has screwed up the device.I actually have 2 other of these devices in white. They did have some issues when they arrived but were able to connect to the app and thereafter perform a firmware update - which fixed all the issues listed above.In fact they work quite well - though not without a few quirks. But at least they can be updated.I can only assume they had a slightly later version of the firmware which was working just enough to be able to do a firmware update.So if you buy one of these devices it's going to be hit and miss as to the firmware version and whether you'll ever be able to update it to fix the bugs.I may come back in a few years time and risk buying another one - in the hope by then they all have working firmwares. But as of 2025 I wouldn't recommend these devices.

I have no way to measure the accuracy of this monitor. I do love it for anyway and keeps me informed of the air quality in my home. As long as it's at least close, give or take a small percentage, I'm happy. It does look accurate enough when I check my thermostat against it. The humidity and temp match so I have to believe the other readings are spot on as well. I check it regularly throughout the day and find that opening the windows and doors are really beneficial to good air quality. As an asthma sufferer, yes! I feel the difference between now and when I didn't have the monitor. Especially when I'm cooking and I can see that the levels are increasing and it's time to bring some fresh air in. The settings are super easy to adjust in both the unit and on the app. The app is actually pretty basic but I love that it is. Great app actually. I recommend this item, super happy with it!

Ich habe diesen Luftqualitätsmonitor ursprünglich aus Neugier gekauft, aber er hat sich als eines der nützlichsten Geräte in unserem Haushalt erwiesen. Nicht, weil er besonders "smart" oder technisch beeindruckend ist, sondern weil er ganz konkrete, alltagsnahe Erkenntnisse liefert.Der Qingping misst unter anderem CO₂, Feinstaub (PM2.5 und PM10), Temperatur, Luftfeuchtigkeit, Lautstärke und sogenannte Volatile Organic Compounds. Die Werte erscheinen auf einem angenehm großen und klaren Touchscreen, der sich einfach bedienen lässt. Die Oberfläche ist übersichtlich und zeigt entweder Uhrzeit oder Luftwerte im Fokus. Die Bedienung funktioniert komplett am Gerät, man braucht nicht zwingend die App.. und das ist ein klarer Pluspunkt für mich.Was mich aber wirklich überzeugt hat, ist nicht die Technik selbst, sondern das, was ich durch die Messungen über meine Umgebung gelernt habe:1. Wir lüften zu selten. In unserer Wohnung mit vier Personen steigen die CO₂-Werte sehr schnell, wenn alle Fenster geschlossen bleiben. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, wie schnell sich schlechte Luft anstaut. Teilweise lagen die Werte bei über 1500 ppm, obwohl wir uns eigentlich „frisch“ gefühlt haben. Seit wir den Qingping nutzen, mache ich regelmäßiger Stoßlüften, vor allem morgens und abends. Der Effekt ist messbar und spürbar.2. Fettiges Braten verursacht richtig viel Feinstaub. Beim Braten von Bacon zum Beispiel schnellt der PM2.5-Wert massiv nach oben. Selbst mit gekipptem Fenster und geöffneter Balkontür bleibt der Wert lange erhöht. Dass Braten tatsächlich so viele schädliche Partikel freisetzt, war mir nicht bewusst. Ohne den Monitor hätte ich das einfach nie erfahren, aber jetzt überlege ich beim Kochen öfter, ob ein Dunstabzug oder zusätzliche Belüftung sinnvoll wäre.3. Auch im Büro wird die Luft über den Tag, langsam aber sicher, schlechter. In meinem Büro mit sechs bis sieben Personen verteilt auf fünf Räume steigen die CO₂-Werte im Laufe des Tages langsam an. Morgens sind sie noch bei 500 bis 800 ppm, aber gegen Nachmittag klettern sie auf über 1300. Ich habe früher Konzentrationseinbrüche gegen 14 oder 15 Uhr oft auf Müdigkeit oder „das Mittagstief“ geschoben. Inzwischen denke ich, dass schlechte Luft auch ein Faktor sein könnte. Jetzt mache ich gezielter Lüftungspausen, was tatsächlich zu helfen scheint.4. Außenluft ist nicht immer besser. An einem Tag stieg der PM2.5-Wert im Büro plötzlich stark an, sobald ich gelüftet habe, von üblichen 5–15 auf über 40. Erst war ich irritiert, weil ich dachte, Frischluft müsste immer besser sein. Nach etwas Recherche habe ich herausgefunden, dass an dem Tag eine Schadstoffwolke über Norddeutschland hing, vermutlich aus östlicher Richtung hereingetragen und wegen fehlenden Winds stehengeblieben. Die Werte wurden auch in Luftqualitätsprognosen angezeigt, und ich fand sogar Zeitungsartikel dazu. Ohne den Qingping hätte ich das gar nicht bemerkt – und ich bin an dem Tag bewusst nicht joggen gegangen, um nicht die (vergleichsweise) schmutzige Luft besonders viel einzuatmen.Technisch funktioniert das Gerät zuverlässig. Die Messwerte sind stabil und plausibel, gerade CO₂ und PM2.5 scheinen genau zu sein. Ich habe sie teilweise mit anderen Geräten, und öfter mal mit offizielleren Messungen verglichen. Der CO₂-Sensor lässt sich auch manuell kalibrieren. Die Verbindung per WLAN klappt gut, und wer möchte, kann die Daten auch per App oder sogar via MQTT in ein Smart-Home-System einbinden (habe ich selbst nicht probiert). Die App selbst ist okay, nicht überragend, aber man kommt an alle wichtigen Daten aus der Ferne heran.Ein paar kleine Schwächen gibt es natürlich auch. Die Akkulaufzeit ist eher begrenzt. Als mobiler Monitor ist das Gerät nur bedingt geeignet. Man sollte es lieber dauerhaft mit Strom betreiben. Der Lüfter ist sehr leise, aber nicht komplett lautlos – in sehr ruhiger Umgebung hört man ein leichtes Summen.Fazit: Wer konkrete, einigermaßen zuverlässige Erkenntnisse über seine Luftqualität im Alltag gewinnen will, wird wahrscheinlich mit dem Qingping zufrieden sein. Ich habe durch ihn wirklich einiges dazugelernt, über unser Lüftungsverhalten, unsere Kochgewohnheiten, die Luft im Büro und regionale Schadstoffwolken... Und das ist für mich der größte Mehrwert. Keine Spielerei, sondern ein praktisches Werkzeug für mehr Bewusstsein im Alltag.
