Just the right size not to big not too small

Perfect size to go under my Christmas tree and very fluffy.

I’ve used tree surrounds in the past, but none with a texture as luxurious as this often they’ve been Hessian or something a bit more natural.With a newborn, we wanted to change our old trees around for something a bit more fluffy and sensory for our baby. This is just the trick as our little one loves looking at the lights on the Christmas tree and although we’ve had to move a lot of the decorations off ground level, this is something quite comfortable that they can actually lie on and look up through the tree.Surround itself, so easy to install that it can be done after the tree has been assembled by using the three Velcro tabs pictured.Storing this will be so easy over the years as well as it’s very flexible and as long as it’s rolled appropriately, I’m sure the fur will return to its original state, quite easily with, maybe a bit of a combing.

The QUANEN Christmas Tree skirt arrives in a simple lightweight polythene bag. It looks and feels very plush as you take it out of the packaging. It's way too early for us to have the Christmas decorations up yet so I am afraid that this review cannot show the skirt around the base of an actual Christmas tree - but I will try to appraise the product nevertheless.The skirt is a lovely 'high white' and the faux fur 'hair' generously long so the effect is excellent and I can imagine how the Christmas tree lights will add small dollops of faintly coloured light onto the skirt's surface. I wasn't expecting the skirt to be so well finished off on its underside - there's a full fabric lining that has been neatly sewn all around the edges and on the 'radial split' cut there are hook & loop tabs to help hold the cut together. Normally, we do make up a skirt for our Christmas trees and tend to use 'fibre-fill' - the material that's often used to stuff soft toys, cushions etc. It's a slightly 'messy' process and the QUANEN tree skirt will make the task far quicker... and probably better looking too.The skirt has a diameter of about 36" - which is just about enough for our smaller tree but it would not be large enough for our main tree which has a larger diameter branches base than the skirt. Having said that it somewhat depends whether you just need the skirt to cover the tripod legs at the base of the tree... or, if like us you prefer the 'snow skirt' effect to spread a farther distance onto the floor. To be honest, this 36" skirt will probably suit 90% of peoples' requirements.I think that, for under £15, this Christmas tree skirt is good value for the amount of faux fur fabric that it uses and the pre-cut centre and 'split' centre-to-edge means it can be fitted and removed in a few minutes. I like it, and am eagerly awaiting December when it can be 'tested' to full effect! Ho ho ho!!
