I bought it to decorate an antique wall clock that was missing its top ornament. This wooden applique is well-made with beautiful and highly detailed wood carving. Some areas are a bit rough out of the box. This is easily solved with a bit of sandpaper. I used some primer and matte black spray paint and I am very pleased with the results. I think it suits the clock quite well and gives me some more time to find an original ornament.
