Works fine, though it's apparently designed for very large-gauge wire. (I ended up soldering my small wire to the provided inserts for the unit's connectors, for smaller wires, for even the inserts were too big.)Also, the instructions caution that you will break the unit if you try to open the circuit by prying open the red lever. (The unit has two controls: a central red lever to close the circuit, by pressing the lever closed, toward the center of the unit, and a small red pushbutton, to open the circuit.) To remind myself, I re-typed and printed the instructions in small type and taped them to the side of the unit.But does what I needed it for, and looks kinda cool.
