I wanted to write some quick thoughts on this pan as I didn't see much info out there. This is my first Rosle pan, although I've owned several of their utensils for many years I lived in Europe for awhile, and Rosle is in almost every good cookware store.I've been trying out ceramic pans, as my daily cookers are either copper or cast iron. I've never owned a non-stick pan before except for a a few ceramic pans I've been tried in the last couple months. Here are some quick first impressions:1. Comes in a box with German first and English second, with a pix of the Alps. I'm a fan of German engineering, so I'm already liking the brand positioning of this pan.2. The underside of the pan says it's good to 400 degrees, and I'm a little bummed, as the ceramic pans I have (**fal and ***away) are also good to 400 degrees and I really wanted something that was tougher. Until I realized that I was being... silly (I can say THAT in a review), and this pan is good to 400 degrees CELSIUS!!! That's over 700 degrees Fahrenheit!! Now we're talking!3. The pan is a very good size for my needs. Basically can fit two or three eggs in a pan. I tested it and - now - prepare to be amazed. I CAN FLIP AN EGG IN THIS PAN!! I've never been able to do that! The sides are a bit taller than than a standard skillet and they have a nice curve to them.4. The handle is hollow and stays quite cool on the cooktop. Obviously, it won't stay cool if I put this in the oven.5. This pan can be used on an induction cooktop, according to the codes, but I haven't tested that yet.Overall, this seems like a professional piece of cookware. It's not Gorgeous (like the ***away), but it's still sharp and it really performs well. According to the Rosle website pan guide, and for their Stainless Steel pans, this Elegance line is is right below their professional chef cooking line (called "Silence"). I think it's a new line and it's the only line on the pan guide with a ceramic coating. Btw, this pan is not dishwasher safe, according the website.I'm going to cook with this for a few weeks and update this review. But right now, I love this pan. It performs. I'm impressed.

My hubby loves using the Rosle Elegance nonstick, stainless steel, ceramic coating ProCera 8" frying pan. He likes making toasted sandwiches and eggs and he said this pan works great for both. The size is big enough to toast a large piece of bread. We haven't tried it in the oven yet but works great on the gas stove. Plus, it's easy to clean up. I would have loved for it to come with a lid, especially at this price.
