I never liked the original Podmic’s audio quality in side-by-side comparisons, finding it thin and too accentuated in the treble end. But I always loved the look of it and the solid build, and after trying out the somewhat updated Podmic USB with this new pop filter standard, I wondered if it would help improve the performance of the original. To my ears, it does, and makes it sound much more even and pleasing.More than that, it’s available in many fun colors, my favorite being white on white.I highly recommend this pop filter for use on the original Podmic.
