Ordered 2 of these for the boys birthday (not for me to play honest) I wasn't expecting them to be brilliant for the price but so far I'm very impressed, great selection of games, Gameboy SNES N64 mega drive, everything really, nice bright screen, well made and didn't realise they came with a rechargeable battery when I ordered. Only had them a few days but all the games I have tried have worked fine, I expect I'll find a few that won't but with so many games it won't bother me at all. In short I think they're great, if you're into retro gaming well worth the money and I don't think my boys will get much of a look in

Bought this as a present to 10 year old son. Has a great selection of retro games, e.g. was able also to find all my favourites. Was worried about the battery, but easy holds for a couple hours - really depends on the game.Screen quality is good, although felt away at one point; the 2-side tape to which it was glued stopped holding it, so had to get a fix it by myself, but not a big deal.

Charged to 100% and within 2 minutes it was down to 90%. Battery last less than a hour before running out. Which is a shame because the games and everything else about it is really good!

Although called an “r40 pro”, this is in fact an r36s running ArcOS 2, just in a slightly different case. It’s great. Loads of different manufacturers make these and some of them are fake, but this is the real deal. If you don’t know what an r36s is, you should look it up - there is a huge online community of people using and modding these things. I would highly recommend getting a couple of branded micro SD cards, backing up the supplied card and doing a fresh install. It’s easy and there are loads of guides online about how to do it and the best SD cards to use. Any reviews that say this thing has failed is probably just because the card supplied with them is usually of low quality and should be backed up and changed before it gets corrupted. You can get a r36s console much cheaper from a certain other website, but they can take weeks or months to be delivered from China. If you want Amazon’s fast delivery and awesome return policy, it might be worth paying the extra and ordering from here. There are THOUSANDS of cool retro games included from loads of different consoles and it works great. If you like tinkering it’s really easy to get even more games from loads of different platforms running on it. Highly recommended.

For £50 for a console (got in an offer)with 256gb card included running ArkOS can not complain to much , so far all working ok I did WiFi update with dongle cost another £4 all went okay so far. Is cheaper if get direct from China but need wait longer.Has screen film on when arrives all scratched so need remove it , I bought case from AliExpress for £4 had screen protector and joy caps in it better now , still working fine after few weeks always get games that crash as is rom dump , update I did resolved the battery % issue but seemed to lose 2800 games a strange one maybe something in orginal setup rounded upto 30000. Buttons are stiff and not best control , For price I got on sale is still ok for UK seller.
