Rack behuizing 2129 19 inch 2U - zilver/zwart - 1 x USB 3.0 + 1 x USB 2.0

First, the good. It came with lots of screws and is easy to mount the PSU and motherboard (I'm using a Micro ATX). The lid is held on by 4 screws so easy to remove and re-fit.The not-so-good:The front fans (3 of them) were a little more noisy than I'd hoped and are driven directly from the PSU rather than the MOBO, so are full speed all the time. If you are placing this in a server room then that's probably not a bit issue, but I'm trying to keep the lab as quiet as possible so disconnected them. I need to keep an eye on how the CPU temp does but I don't think it's going to be a problem.The bad:1) The front panel has two USB ports, one is USB2 the other USB3. These are connected via a long cable to a typical dual USB pin header. The cable is long and not very flexible, so routing it and keeping it tidy is not trivial.2) No matter what I try, the front USB2 port is not functional, so either it's a bad connector on the front panel or a bad cable. I re-tested the MOBO with a different cable to external drives and it works fine, so it's definitely the cable/connector inside the case. It's not worth me stripping everything out and returning the case at this point, so it's an annoyance more than anything else.3) The cables that go to the HDD LED and Power LED were backwards, so had to be swapped around on the motherboard end.4) Being a bit picky here, but the Red LED for power is really very bright compared to the green LED for the HDD.Would I buy another one? Probably.

Ein sehr schönes vielseitiges kurzes 2HE Gehäuse. Von vorne zugängliche Einschübe braucht man heutzutage bei vielen Servern oft nicht mehr. Dafür ist Kühlung bei Leistungsfähiger Hardware um so wichtiger. Außerdem hat dieses Gehäuse für mich gute Staubfilter-Eigenschaften. Durch seine kurze Bauform passte es gut in meinen Wandschrank. Der Preis ist ganz ok. Wenn PWM Lüfter verbaut wären wäre das natürlich der Hammer. Die verbauten Lüfter könnte man auch gut weglassen und mit dem Preis entsprechend runter gehen. Aber ich habe noch kein einziges Gehäuse gekauft bei dem ich nicht die Lüfter tauschen musste. Schade ist das es da Gehäuse gerade nicht zu kaufen gibt. Ich hoffe in Spanien werden noch ein paar Produziert ich möchte noch ein paar davon.

Je l'ai utilisé pour créer un NAS avec 4 disques 3,5" et je suis content du résultat.Recommandé !
