This is a beautiful Chess set but it is very fragile so be warned if you have children who will be playing. I opened the VERY well packaged set and one of the rooks was broken. I let the company know and they immediately sent out 4 new rooks. I was very impressed with how quickly they responded. The set is definitely playable if you have two responsible layers and if you just want a beautiful set, it definitely ticks that box.

Gorgeous set! The colors are so nice, the unique marble pattern in each piece is really appreciated. Perfect weight, perfect size. Ideal for chess time. Worth the cost! Get compliments from guests seeing it. The board had a base prote time foam that makes it comfortable to move around and holds a good grip on the which ever surface you place it on, avoiding damage. The pieces are great weight, size... they come with foam pads that can be glued to their base to avoid marble to marble scratching with the board (good approach) but the pads are too thick... making the pieces fall easily on their size as the base is too narrow when pads are on. So either use without, or get thinner ones. Definitely recommend this item!

This chessboard set is very beautiful. The only downside is. Is it needs a storage case?

I am very happy with this chess set. The combination of natural rock colors is awesome. Much more beautiful than I expected based on the photos. I received the pieces and board very well packed in styrofoam/polystyrene. Considering the quality and beauty of the product, the price is a bargain. This is a great option to chess lovers who are also looking for a decorative piece of art.
