A very similar marble napkin holder was selling at a high end retail store for a lot more.I found this. It's a pretty good copy of the expensive in-store retail version and is made quite well. The sides are glued to the base. So use it with care. The more expensive version at the retailer store is also glued at the exact same spots anyhow. The main difference is that the glue is better finished/complete on the in-store version versus this one. At the base, you can see that this manufacturer didn't completely glue the entire length of the marble together, so you do have air 'gaps' that exist. The gaps in the gluing was minor so I'm keeping it.It was well packaged. Heavy. Solid napkin holder. Lots of packaging to prevent breakage.Fairly modern and simple design on what can be a tacky kitchen item because so many versions exist with designs and materials that aren't simple. I really like this because you can fit different type or size napkins unlike the flat versions where it has to be a square.....I like buying many different styles and sizes for parties so this design works.

Love thisI was just a bit disappointed with the colour, as it is more earthy brown than I wanted. I was hoping for something similar to the beautiful vase, with green tones.
