We own the bigger sibling and I'm surprised of the great job they did at converting it into a roll and write format, considering the sibling is a worker placement game with dice used as resources.The game is really good. I encourage you to try it (currently free) at Yucata dot de.I actually prefer this version to its sibling (we play at 2p at home) because I think the board game version has some balance issues... and frankly this version scratches the exact same itch in a much more compact and shorter play time. Also I find the dice drafting to be really good at the 2p mark (but karma works in an odd way, restricting you to only 2 dice).The main negative is that replayability is quite limited. I tire of this game quickly. There are two sides to the map, the one being just slightly more challenging because bonuses are a bit trickier to chain. But overall there's an efficient (or a set of efficient) way(s) to play which means every game you won't play the same game, but you will, if you get what I mean.Don't get me wrong, I strongly believe you can win by focusing on coins, or on upgrades+temples, or exploting the river, or - finally - a very balanced mix. But most times you'll end up making very similar decisions based on the dice that are available.At the end of the day, the game is really good, but I almost never want to play it.

Das Spiel macht wirklich viel Spaß und funktioniert auch besonders gut zu zweit. Wer Spiele wie Ganz schön Clever etc. mag wird hier ein Spiel mit ähnlichem Spielgefühl aber genug Abwechslung finden. Der Kern des Spiels besteht im taktische Auswählen der richtigen Aktionen in der richtigen Reihenfolge, um eine möglichst gewinnbringende Kombokette auszulösen. Gerade zum Ende des Spiels kann man dann schonmal eine Minuten über seinen Zug nachdenken. Die Aktionen sind aber noch so übersichtlich, dass das Spiel nicht zu einem kompletten Gehirnpuzzel wird.
